Extending the length of harness

Re: Extending the length of harness
The signal on the main harness is a serial signal (5v for flashing and 12v for engine data), you should be ok to extend the length of the wires but there is a limit to how long you can extend the wire, this is influenced by how much interference (electrical noise) is around the harness as well. I would suggest you try to keep the length of the extended harness as short as practical and also keep it away from any electrical interference.
 Extending the length of harness
Hi good morning i have flashed my ecu and everything is going good so far. I want to put my log box in my dash board so a will have to make my harness longer when i make the harness longer would i get some negative effect or would it be just fine if I cut the wires and make them longer.
