Log Box vs Power Commander V

Re: Log Box vs Power Commander V
The LogBox makes the Power Commander seem like a toy! You'll love it once you fully understand it's full potential.
Re: Log Box vs Power Commander V
Yes this is exactly how it works, you basically install the log box, put it in data logging mode (center position) then ride the bike to log data. Then you open the logged data in the Woolich Racing Tuned software AutoTune. The log files are analyzed and you can click on the "AutoTuned Map" tab you will see the suggested changes, you just have to click "Apply AutoTune" for both IAP and TPS maps and then save the bin file and flash the changes to the ECU. After you have logged some more data, open up the bin file saved in the previous tuning session, and apply the changes suggested by AutoTune again. You repeat the process above until the fuel maps stabilize. I would highly recommend purchasing a wideband o2 sensor as well, this will allow you to log accurate AFR data which is essential to the tuning process http://www.woolichracing.com/FAQItem.aspx?Id=5
Log Box vs Power Commander V
Question from Customer i am about to install an MJS header with yoshimura r77d on my L1 gsxr600.I am interested in purchasing the log box rather than a power commander v. is it possible to ride the bike untuned with the log box connected, then run the logged data through the software you provide, and the software will recommend how to tune the bike? im unsure if this is how the process works. or if i must have someone with a dyno adjust the inputs after the bike has been dynoed. im sure getting the bike on a dyno would be ideal but i may not be able to do that for several months. if the software will recommend settings for me based on how the bike runs untuned and then i can make the necessary changes, that would be ideal. thanks
