Log Box Pro with stock (narrowband) setup

Re: Log Box Pro with stock (narrowband) setup
Ballad? Have you mailed Justing about this? I find the differences in logging output a bit "scary". Unless, like you wrote, this is due to two totally different (soft)firmware versions involved. From WRT (software) side the result (log output "channels") should show exactly the same output.

Re: Log Box Pro with stock (narrowband) setup
There are 2 sources for AFR: the ecu data stream and the Zt-3 digital data, but a single place to put AFR. So either there is some sort of auto detect (such as reading known null values form one source) or a configuration option in the firmware. I was curios about that also. In the beginning I was using a A/D converted Analog AFR, then later switched to the Zeitronix digital direct AFR setup. What happens if you have both? Which AFR will be displayed, the A/D converted AFR or the digital direct AFR? How does the LBP distinguish between which of the 2 AFR's it displays and which of the 2 AFR's will be logged?

Re: Log Box Pro with stock (narrowband) setup
Interesting. How have you set up ZT-3 controller to work with the OEM sensor? This (as you know) should be fairly accurate/consistent with a wideband sensor, but the output is between 0-1V. Perhaps this is incompatible with the ZT-3 controller/software? Another difference I noticed between logbox v1 and logbox pro is that on the pro IAT and fuel1... fuel4 are always 0: Log Time RPM TPS IAP AFR IGN STP Gear MS Clutch In Boost Pressure Coolant Temp IAT PAIR Fuel1 Fuel2 Fuel3 Fuel4 00:00.5 1447 0.6 29.04 14.7 14.7 100 1 0 True 0 28.3 0 False 0 0 0 0 00:00.6 1340 0.6 26.14 14.7 14.7 100 1 0 True 0 28.9 0 False 0 0 0 0 00:00.6 1357 0.6 26.14 14.7 14.7 100 1 0 True 0 28.9 0 False 0 0 0 0 ... 07:24.5 2488 3.1 30.25 14.7 25.5 100 3 0 False 0 85 0 False 0 0 0 0 07:24.6 2518 3.1 30.73 14.7 25.5 100 3 0 False 0 85 0 False 0 0 0 0 07:24.6 2533 3.1 30.98 14.7 25.9 100 3 0 False 0 85 0 False 0 0 0 0

Re: Log Box Pro with stock (narrowband) setup
That is strange. I also would have thought that the Log Box Pro should work just like Log Box v1 regarding logging data from ECU. I guess Justin will clarify if the Log Box Pro is not compatible with the stock 0-1V sensor. Maybe it is a firmware design choice. There are 2 sources for AFR: the ecu data stream and the Zt-3 digital data, but a single place to put AFR. So either there is some sort of auto detect (such as reading known null values form one source) or a configuration option in the firmware.

Perhaps this is incompatible with the ZT-3 controller/software? No, I did not explain well enough. The setup is 100% stock, narrowband go to pin 12 and logbox v1 works fine. The busa bin file has stock o2 not disabled and wideband o2 not enabled. There is no wb sensor connected. I swapped logbox v2 with logbox pro. The zeitronix controller is just powered up and its data cable is plugged into the logbox pro. The zt3-controller sensor harness is not connected.

I just swapped the Log Box (v1) with a Log Box Pro, no other change, same bin file. The data cable from the Zt-3 controller is plugged in, but the WB sensor harness is still disconnected. I have a constant AFR reading 14.7 for all samples. Does this mean that log box pro does not support stock narrowband?
