I would move it onto a link pipe rather than headers just to be sure. Having said that, please consider, that at any time, only the gases from single cylinder (as per firing order) flow by the sensor. Unless you have some back-flow or turbulence which is always a possibility with OEM system. Also if your throttle bodies are not balanced you might have different AFR for each cylinder and that will make the readings less accurate because of averaging due to O2 sensor inertia. That is why being further away is better. |

First I remove the Exup valve.

And weld the o2 bung into place.
Welding titanium without the proper iquipment is a pain.

But if I view this from the inside I think it only samples from the left two cilinders.
Is this a problem?

Should I move the sensor more to the back of the exhaust system where there is a better mix from all cillinders?
