LBP Installed on 1400GTR / Concours 14 - 2 Thmbs up! |
Hi Folks,
I just wanted to post up that I finally got the LBP installed today and it's as cool as the other side of the pillow! Nice work Mr. Woolich.
Complete install barely took and hour, including the LBP and Zeitronix kit....although I did already have switched power leads installed for the PC Auto-tune that I removed, and that saved a little time.
I spent another hour or so fiddlin' around the with the software...communication, configuration, and settings, etc. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't logging any data, but it turns out my bike wasn't hitting the 80 degree C minimum tuning temp in the settings. I dropped the number down, and I was off to the races. Made two good data logging runs, at various speeds and RPM's, with a couple hard pulls through the gears to redline, and applied both data logs to the BIN file and uploaded to the ECU, and she's running like a champ.
Engine pulls hard all the way to reline, and power delivery is nice and smooth. Love it.
I still have a lot more tuning to do, but for my first day with the kit installed, I was really happy with the results. I'm already within 1-2 percent of my target AFR in the TPS map, with a little more work required to smooth out the IAP map.
In any case, a tip of the hat to Mr. Woolich for such a cool product. Nicely done.
