Re: Fast engine data vs SDS |
I am wondering if the problem lies in the mismatch between the data transfer rates (baud rate). I know it was an issue when using Fast Engine Data in ECU Editor as well. Try re-setting it to the default value.
Spot on. I haven't bothered digging up the reference for you but yes, from my reading the documentation does state that you will have issues connecting to default Suzuki diagnostics applications when the fast engine data is enabled. (I'm new to WRT and as such the doco is fresh in my memory). I believe you just have to set it back to normal speed (not fast) for use with anything other than WRT. Its not a bug in the Woolich stuff - just functionality that isn't supported by anyone else. I guess for general diagnosis you wouldn't need the faster baud rates - only when you're keen to get accurate logging would that be beneficial in having higher sampling rates. Even then, probably marginally so. |

Re: Fast engine data vs SDS |
Have you tried the OEM SDS Tool?
I have not used OEM SDS,but I have used this tester for 4 years with no problems,on all suzuki models.
It worked very well and is much cheaper, and do the same as SDS. |

Fast engine data vs SDS |
Hello!
I discovered that when flash ecu with "fast engine data" does not work Suzuki OBD TOOL (Suzuki Diagnostic System)!
Try on: GSXR 1000 21H 50 and Hayabusa Gen 2 EU 15H00
Does anyone know anything about this?
If I return to Stok, everything works perfectly.
Thanks in advance, with respect TNG!
