 configuring com port |
| hello,
when trying to use the engine data I get a "configuring com port" message and then it goes to "engine data stopped" these two flash back and forth at the bottom of the window. when I test interface I get an error "write length not equal to read length"
what am I doing wrong?
to expand on this. I download the Com port drivers and three new items show up in my device managers other section, all with errors. I went to the FTDI and got their drivers directly for my windows 7 64 bit OS but I get an unzip error.
I can read and write to the ECU, look at data logs, but no live data. these functions dont appear to use the same drivers? or the com ports not used with the read/write task. showing up as a hard drive I'm sure is just a USB funciton. |
