engine data - wiring harness only

Re: engine data - wiring harness only
Yes that indicator needs to be green. Please check the following: Interface should be in Engine Data Mode Harness is correctly installed, check plugs and circuit continuity from the ECU plug through to the white molex plug Check that the same "Fast Baud Rate" setting is selected for the bin file in the ecu and in the software Please also try the Engine Data module in the Woolich Racing Tuned (WRT) software

Re: engine data - wiring harness only
Hy! I tried to get engine data with ecueditor, but was not successful. Before switching to engine data mode, I flashed with the generic mode set. When I open the engine data panel, there is a yellow signal in the connection box. Am I right, that this one has to be green in order to get data?

Re: engine data - wiring harness only
Thank you very much!

Re: engine data - wiring harness only
Sorry for that stupid question, but which type should be selected in order to deactivate the immobilizer?

Re: engine data - wiring harness only
depends on the ECU Type selected.

Re: engine data - wiring harness only
And ist it necessary to have a key switch installed? I was able to flash the ecu, so the immobilizer should be deactivated.?

Re: engine data - wiring harness only
Hi, yes you need to have all of the required signals connected to the ecu so it is in a state where it could/would start the engine. Ignition On Engine Kill Switch in run position Clutch In The engine does not have to be running to get Engine Data.

Hy there, i've got a question regarding the engine data function in ecueditor. What is required for getting data? - ignition switch on - engine stop switch off, side stand relay off Are these switches enough, or is it necessary to have a key switch with a plugged key too? Does the engine has to run? We would like to get data with the removed harness for adjusting. Thanks for any reply! greets from austria, stefan
