Errors Flashing gsxr 1000 k8

Re: Errors Flashing gsxr 1000 k8
I seriously doubt if the WRT is looking for immobilizer. But I think the ECU does, and if you change it, and the transponder code in the key is not matching the ECU, it will not start.

Re: Errors Flashing gsxr 1000 k8
I understand moving the switch after writting, but my application is a little different, the motor is in a car and the harness has been shorten to run only the Fuel Injection. Does the WRT look for an immobiliser? because I don't have one, the original denso didn't care. One thing I don't understand is I've modified the fuel maps slightly and wright the bin over to the ecu, comes back successful. Then I go back and read it, WRT says Read succesful but when I look at the Fuel maps there is no change it shows me the fuel map of the bin I selected.

Re: Errors Flashing gsxr 1000 k8
as soon as I write to ecu the motor the won't start. I now have 2 Ecu that won't start the motor.?? Does the serial number make a difference? because its gone after I write The last ecu was an 07 32920-21H60_DJ0HSE50 Marc After the write is complete you need to flip the switch on the flash box out of write/read mode. You should hear the fuel pump kicks in as soon as you've done that.

Re: Errors Flashing gsxr 1000 k8
Just an update I did figure out the write problem, turns out I think it was my laptop, permission to folder problem, also I think my battery was draining. I do have another issue, presently I can read and write the ecu succesfully no problem, but as soon as I write to ecu the motor the won't start. I now have 2 Ecu that won't start the motor.?? Does the serial number make a difference? because its gone after I write The last ecu was an 07 32920-21H60_DJ0HSE50 Marc

Re: Errors Flashing gsxr 1000 k8
If you are 100 % sure that the harness is OK I can only suggest that you check the operation of the slider switch on a flashbox. It could be getting loose and causing intermittent connection. Also have you tried flashing using the ECU editor software?

Re: Errors Flashing gsxr 1000 k8
Just want to say thankyou for responding but no luck Thinking its time to give you an overview, I'm a racer but not on a bike, the harness has been in a car for last 4 years with 07 and 08 motors no problems, but in the past we've always run piggy back fuel systems. I've completly tested your interface and did a complete continuity check on all conductors, please trust me the hardness is good, I've even used needles at each end , For the last 25yrs I've been troubleshooting electrical circuits for a living. My Write attempts have been about 14 times, it has failed 12 times, The WRT has written successfully twice but only the stock bin. My goal for tunning is simply to add fuel so the motor runs cooler. The stock bin has been written a couple of time, but not repeatable as soon as I change the stock bin it refuse to write. When I do a write, the bin file WRT will erase the ecu bin everytime but it after the bin gets erased the ecu seems to gets lost and communication gets lost, ends up timing out after 2 or 3 minutes, seems for ever.. I've also done the interface test and it pasted all 10 tests, at this point I'm not sure what to do next? by the way I've used 2 08 ECMs with the same results. Thanks Marc

Re: Errors Flashing gsxr 1000 k8
Hi, that particular error means the software is not receiving a response back after writing to the ECU, it is generally associated with a harness problem. Can you please check the harness and wiring for any loose connections or shorts that may cause an intermittent connection to the ECU.

 Errors Flashing gsxr 1000 k8
I have a 08 Gsxr 1000, I have been able to read without any problems but there seems to some kind of hand shaking problem, with many Writing errors, my errors are No Acknowledge after writing block = 0 page = 0. Please turn Ignition Off then On again, Reset Interface and try again. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ No Acknowledge after writing block = 15 page = 255. Please turn Ignition Off then On again, Reset Interface and try again. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ No Acknowledge after writing block = 11 page = 0. Please turn Ignition Off then On again, Reset Interface and try again. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Most of the time I receive the first error. I have a log box pro and been using the usb cable My bin is 32920-21H60_DJ0HSE50 Please advise me what I should try next... Thanks Marc
