Re: 2012 GSXR750 with R6 throttle tube |
Hi
The TPS sensor sits down on the throttle bodies and measures the opening. Changing the throttle tube should not affect the calibration of the TPS sensor, provided that the throttle plates are allowed to return to the closed position and also that they are opening the throttle to full 100% open. |

2012 GSXR750 with R6 throttle tube |
Curious - I replaced the stock throttle tube with one from an R6 in order to get quicker to WOT. Does that throw off the "calibration" of the ECU to the throttle? I seeing abnormally low TPS values even though I'm a 9K. Can this affect the quality of my auto-tunes or does it have no affect at all? Thanks in advance for any responses... |
