I have a 2011 Suzuki hayabusa. I'm planning to run a 30hp shot of dry NOS. I read online to set my injector balance to 50/50.
I do not know what that means.
What is the Injector Balance Map used for?
How do I tune this map?
How do I set my injectors to 50/50?
Thanks

Hello.
Perhaps a bit late in the day to submit a post, but thought I'd drop a comment. Injector balance maps don't increase or decrease over all fuel supply, these maps simply determine the split of fuel between the primary and secondary injectors...eg on the maps where it states 100 this means that the primary injectors supply 100% of fuel against the corresponding fuel maps...where it states 20, this means that the primary injectors are supplying 20% of fuel and secondary injectors are supplying 80%. Fuel spray is more turbulent the further up the intake and provides better power at higher rpm. Fuel spray (or atomisation) provides better emissions lower down the intake (which is manufacturers do this to pass emissions requirements). For all the other values in the map (excluding the 100); if you subtract this number from 100 then that value will be what the secondary injectors supply, the total value is always 100% by both primary and secondary injectors. The amount of fuel supplied will be determined by iap/tps and these are the maps that you must tune in terms of fuel delivery. Obviously, exactly where and how you supply fuel will be governed by how much and whereabouts you supply NOS. Don't forget your ignition! It'll wreck an engine if you don't set your ignition properly. Injector maps really compliment stp to an extent. Hope it goes ok |
