Re: STP how much open??? |
Unifying STP maps is improving Autotune procedure in case your fuel/ignition maps are same for all gears |
|
Re: STP how much open??? |
Actually now that I look back at the maps, the only one that is vastly different is 2nd gear STP map, the rest are all just very mild variances between gears, so I copied 3rd gear to 2nd gear. It feels completely more powerful in 2nd. Is it just me? Or does anyone else see this in the 2011 750 map? |

Re: STP how much open??? |
Gotcha, from what I can see, there are no restrictive maps across the gear range for my bike. When I compare the lower power "B" mode's STP maps with full power "A" mode, there is a drastic difference, but full power mode, through all the gears there's minimal changes across the map. So I should be optimal. |

Re: STP how much open??? |
then how much % give + 5+10?
The stock setup is generally the best choice, stp changes make sense if you do other engine modifications such as airbox, filter, exhaust, decat.
It makes also sense to eliminate artificial restrictions, for example on some bikes use gear 4 stp map for all gears.
Why gear 4? For instance, I have an air filter, no cat, full Yosh r77 system but have no idea how to tune the STP or where to start. Why 4th gear though specifically and not 5 or 6?
WRT (and ecueditor before WRT) initially supported hayabusa and bking only. On the b-king 5th and 6th were restricted through STP settings,
while 2nd and 3rd were restricted as well (probably for emission control). So 4th was the only unrestricted gear.
Anyway checking your stp map you could easily pick up the unrestricted one.
For autotune to work well it is better to have fuel, ignition and stp maps equal for all gear groups. |

Re: STP how much open??? |

i check stp maps from 5-6 gear (had 30 at top in 3000rpm)copy them on 2-3 (had 15)gear end this look like safe tune with right flow??
gsxr1000
pipercross air filter
decat
yoshi r77
pair valve off
exhaust valve off |

Re: STP how much open??? |
ok if a left 94 for my bike is max in all range revs i will get more air end i need to give more fuel ? yes (after autotune for my afr)?
stp from 5-94 is lowering power?
3200rpm stp is 11 if i will change this for 94 i will get more power? after fuel compensation up using autotune?
The air flow must have an optimal speed. If you open stp more at low rev, the air flow reduces too much and you will have less power
and less torque. |

Re: STP how much open??? |
For some bin files the maximum STP opening is not 100% e.g. 94%, you should use this value as the maximum STP value. |

STP how much open??? |
hi everyone
STP how much open???
94% or more?
what is your stp setup in full rpm range ? |
