ZX6R Traction Control Settings

 Re: ZX6R Traction Control Settings
Perhaps someone knows how to disable the traction control on this model (zx6r636 13) at all? My friend is engaged in stunt riding, and the traction control is impeding. It does not turn off completely through the dashboard. when i am completely stop (doesn't matter if engine run or not) i can turn off TC with same button that switch maps.. :/ And then it is completely turned off, and does not interfere in work of the engine? As a motorcycle without the traction control?

 Re: ZX6R Traction Control Settings
Yesterday i made the following maps and test then at the most slippery road of the city :P Traction Control - Activation Sensitivity------Mode 1 all 255---Mode 2 all 0------Mode 3 all 0 Traction Control - TPS Correction--------------Mode 1 all 0------Mode 2 all 255---Mode 3 all 0 Traction Control - Slip Sensitivity--------------Mode 1 all 0------Mode 2 all 0------Mode 3 all 255 what i figure out Still not sure, but seems at Traction Control - Activation Sensitivity the bigger value the lowest sensitivity, this is what i will research little further When i used Mode 3, when the TC activate the Throttle was looks like it locked at low value (i play with throttle but still same) till i change Mode or leave the TPS to 0 and change gear but as author says, at Traction Control - Slip Sensitivity map the first row what represent? TPS? the values are 1 - 19 only

 Re: ZX6R Traction Control Settings
1.) Traction Control - Activation Sensitivity (RPM x throttle %???), 1 map per mode, (Higher values do something more intrusive...?) 2.) Traction Control - TPS Correction (Mode X throttle %???), (Higher values correction more intrusive?) 3.) Traction Control - Slip Sensitivity (Mode x no clue???), (Higher values allow less slip?) this is what i figure out until now (maybe some or all are totally wrong :P ) 1.) Traction Control - Activation Sensitivity: This i think have to do with the TC bar that show at instrument panel. 2.) Traction Control - TPS Correction: are the amount of percentage of throttle that will drop down when Traction activate. 3.) Traction Control - Slip Sensitivity: Higher value more sensitive. again i didnt play yet with this values i just guess

 ZX6R Traction Control Settings
I've done a few races on my '13 ZX-6R now with the Woolich software and have the fueling/ignition sorted out. Now I want to see if I can tweak the traction control settings. However, I need a little help understanding what the parameters are. I see 3 sets of maps: 1.) Traction Control - Activation Sensitivity (RPM x throttle %???), 1 map per mode, (Higher values do something more intrusive...?) 2.) Traction Control - TPS Correction (Mode X throttle %???), (Higher values correction more intrusive?) 3.) Traction Control - Slip Sensitivity (Mode x no clue???), (Higher values allow less slip?) So, first thing is, what are headers for the columns? The first 2 I'm guessing are throttle percentages and no clue on the last. Next, what is the general effect of each of these. Activation Sensitivity and Slip Sensitivity sound like the same thing to me, but I assume it's not. I assume TPS correction is how hard it intervenes when it is activated? Finally, am I correct above on higher values on all 3 maps make the TC more intrusive? I'll also tell you what I'm after. At Road Atlanta this past weekend, I felt there were many times where the TC came on at the right time perhaps, but it seemed to stay on too long. Maybe that's the TPS Correction? Is it possibly over-correcting for my personal tastes? My rear tire came out of the race perfect, but it's a race, and I can afford to abuse my tire a little to get better drives. I know it's going to take my own personal testing to get the numbers right for me, I just want to make sure I get a good understanding of what controls what before I go in and start trying different numbers randomly.
