This is not really a bug, the IAT is only available in the original version of the Log Box which is why it is still included in the .csv export, we were constrained by the data packet size with the newer devices as we are storing additional information from things like AD inputs etc, so the IAT data was left out as it was not considered to be as important as other parameters, if there is a good reason to include it we can look at adding it back in a future firmware update.
I also missed the IAT. It was useful to reconstruct in which environmental conditions the engine was running.
Moreover I have a b-king with modified side air intake, it was interesting to measure what is the temperature difference
when air comes directly from outside rather than being taken from behind the radiator.
Since most logboxpro are not using AD inputs, preference to use IAT could be a switchable option. |
