STVA

 Re: STVA
Yep, 'C' sucks and 'B' has such a strong sudden pull towards the top end that it actually makes it hard to upshift. However, like you found, it's relatively easy to generate your own custom STVA map for 1st gear and to tweak 2nd gear if necessary. The real advantage of the STVA is the ability to modify power by individual gears. I've also played with advancing the opening of the STVA in third to sixth gears, however I found I lost power, even when shifting the ignition advance commensurate with the STVA opening curve. That's an area for more research. It actually has me wondering if the dip in the original STVA fuel map might be of benefit. Anyway that's off the agenda at the moment, need to replace my swingarm bearings first.

 Re: STVA
STVA is referred to as STP in WRT software. You can find the maps under 'Other Maps' in the software. I've spent the last two weeks playing with these. Started by removing the restricted maps for gears 2 and 3 (by copy/pasting gear 4 'opening' and 'fuel' maps) and copy/pasting 'C' mode gear 1 'Opening' and 'fuel' maps over 'A' mode gear 1 map. ..... Great for launch, particularly if you set up the clutch-in (neutral) rev limit at 4500 rpm. I tried to follow your advice, but it looks to me that it removed too much power and torque to the first gear. Map C is designed for extra safety with low grip, not for optimal launch with good grip. In next bin files I'll try to use for gear 1 the stp openings from gear 4 mode A, with values divided by 2. If the bike wheeles during a 1st gear roll on to the limiter I'll reduce the value, Otherwise I'll increment by the same % all cells. When the max stp values are found, in standard grip conditions this should provide a safe optimized launch setup. Today I used the mode "B" stp opening map for gear 1 from 2000 rpm to 10800 rpm. On a 1st gear roll on it wheeles when close to top rpm, so it is just a little bit over the optimal value.

 Re: STVA
Thank you my friend. The matter is that I want to set the injection system from another GSXR motorcycle, and the second row throttle I wanted to remove, along with actuator and the sensor. So it does not error is displayed. You can do that manually. Remove the seconadary blades and the shaft that moves them. Close the holes in the bodies with epoxy ( JB weld or similar). Then cut the shaft and leave just enough length so that the STVA can still move the STPS. This way the ECU won't see a fault,I've done this on my K7 1000 without issues so far.

Possible to include such an option for Hayabusa 2 gen and GSXRs? Or are there other ways to get rid of the flap actuator to the error has not lighted up.
