Problem Flashing B-King

 Re: Problem Flashing B-King
I am currently using ECU Editor and wanted to try WRT. The first flash with WRT worked with no issues. Came back from a short ride, made some changes, then after flashing, I flipped the switch to Engine Data and the bike just started making clicking sounds like it was trying to go through the start up process but wouldn't complete the process. Thought I fried the ECU or something, tried again with WRT, same result. For giggles, I figured I would try flashing with ECU Editor, that actually worked just like normal. After the flash, flipped the switch to Engine Data and could hear the fuel pump and the other normal start up noises. So, I tried again with WRT, no dice, still got clicking sounds like it couldn't complete its start up process. So flash with ECU Editor again, worked like a charm. Tried restarting my laptop, creating a new busa.bin file and flashing with WRT again, all I got was the clicking noises. So I flashed again with ECU Editor to fix. I am flashing with the original Boost by Smith harness. Anyone else had anything like this happen? (Update) Tried again today with a different laptop, had same result. I tried both US model busa.bin files, both would cause the bike to start/stop its start up process but never complete the process. (Had to flip the switch back to FLASH or turn the bike off or it will just continue to stop/start the process) After getting the same result with both US busa.bin files, I tried the bking.bin file, this worked. Not sure why the busa.bin file worked the first time but wouldn't on subsequent tries, but it is working with the bking.bin flash for now.
