If your Model/Year is listed as supported in the
Woolich Racing Tuned software or on the Woolich Racing website, but your exact ECU part number is not listed, we can still add it to the software.
Most models can be read out with the software, and the new bin file can be sent to Woolich Racing from within the software.
On some newer models the ECU can not be read out with the software, due to manufacturers having disabled the read functionality in the factory. In this case you can simply send us your ECU, we will read it out and add support for it to the
Woolich Racing Tuned software.
Note: Before you go ahead and send us the ECU, please make sure you have double checked the ECU part number. Some ECUs have a generic ECU part number printed on the outside, and the Bin File Part Number is not shown on the ECU casing or label. In this case you can only check the ECU Part Number by connecting to the ECU with the WRT software, and reading the Part Number from the ECU.
Then you would need to ship it to us so we can connect to the ECU and read out the Bin File, after that we will send your ECU back to you. We have technicians in the UK, EU, USA, and Australia.
Some ECU's can not be read out using the factory plugs, and in these cases we may need to make a small hole or slot in the ECU casing so we can connect internally, to read the new Bin File from it. We then seal up the slot with a waterproof compound, and send the ECU back to you. Please note that this may void the ECU warranty. Please check with your customer before sending the ECU to verify if they are willing to proceed with this procedure.
We typically only need the ECU for a day or two to read out the Bin File and we can then send it back to you.
You will need to pay for the shipping of the ECU to us, and we will pay for return shipping.
You will also receive a free Bin File Key that you can use to write to the ECU, to cover your shipping costs.
Note that you may be responsible for any customs fees or taxes related to importing the ECU back into your country when received, so please plan accordingly.
Please open a
Support Ticket, and let us know the bike details (model/year), and ECU details (ECU Part Number)
If you wish to go ahead and send us the ECU, we can then give you the shipping details.
