Bench HarnessThe bench harnesses are plugged directly into the main plug on the ECU. You need to unplug the main harness ECU plug and then plug in the Bench Harness to read/write to the ECU. The ECU is powered by a 12v power supply while using the Bench Harness. No modifications are required to the main bike harness when using the Bench Harness. Live engine data, data logging and Diagnostics is not available with the Bench Harness.
On Bike Harness:
The On Bike Harnesses are installed permanently onto the bike. They allow you to easily Read/Write to the ECU and Read and Clear Diagnostics (On Applicable Models). On Bike Harnesses generally allow you to connect to Engine Data allowing you to view real time engine data on the computer screen. On Bike Harnesses are the best option when tuning on the Dyno or logging data for Autotuning.
