Step by step guide to choosing the right hardware. |
First, you’ll need to select the correct hardware to purchase. Here’s how you find out what’s right for you:
-
Go to the Products page and select and make of your bike by clicking on the image of either the Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda or Ducati.
-
The model list will be displayed. Select the model and year of your bike. If your bike does not appear, please head over to the Subscribe to Email Updates page to register. This will allow us to notify you when your make and model is added. However, generally you'll require an Interface or Log Box (What’s the difference between a Log Box and an Interface?), a harness to connect the Interface or Log Box to your bike, a USB cable, and a Bin File Definition for your bike. To make things easy we have packages available which contain all of these items for each make and model of bike listed.
-
Sometimes, additional items are also required.
-
Select and Purchase the package relevant to your bike.
Note. Not all makes and models will have the Log Box Packages available as the Log Box only currently works with some models. Was this helpful? YesNo open in new page |

Troubleshooting
Having difficulty reading and/or writing to the ECU? Here’s our 'Troubleshooting Checklist'. Problems related to reading and writing an ECU are generally not software related. They are generally caused by one of the following issues: - If you’re using a Denso USB Interface or Log Box, please test the interface to ensure there’s communication between the ECU and the interface.
- If you're using a Mitsubishi USB Interface or Log Box, please test the interface to ensure there's communication between the ECU and the interface.
- The Interface mode switch should be in programming/flashing mode (red LED on).
- The Bike Ignition should be turned on or 12v power supply connected if using a bench harness.
- You harness may not be installed correctly - please check installation instructions.
- Check for broken or loose wires in harness or bad plug connections, please check circuit continuity from white 8 pin molex plug right through to the pins in the ECU Plug.
- If you are performing multiple flashes using V1 & V2 Interfaces only, remember to move the interface mode switch into the center position, then back to flashing mode (red led on), before attempting another write/read operation.
- If the Mitsubishi ECU has been flashed by either a send-in service or any other flashing service before, it has more than likely been locked by that service. Please run the unlock function
- Please check you are using a high speed USB 2 compatible USB Port on your computer.
- Ensure your computer meets our Specifications.
Please note we have a dedicated section in the Woolich Racing Forums entitled, ECU Reading and Writing (Flashing) Issues and also COM Port Setup and Connection Issues. Once you have reviewed the list above, and you’re still having issues, please contact us.

How do I purchase Bin File Definitions for use within the WRT software? |
This video will give you an overview of the Bin File Definition purchase and download process. There are two ways that you can purchase Bin File Definitions for use within the WRT software, both from within the Products Page on the website. The first is to purchase as part of a package with an USB Interface/Log Box, Harness and USB Cable. The second is to purchase Bin File Definitions as a single item.
To access the Bin File Definitions through either of these methods, please click on the make and model of the bike you’re interested in. The package should be at the top of the list of products, while the Bin File Definition as a single item is listed at the very bottom of the page. To purchase simply ‘Add to cart’ and continue through the check-out process.
We are regularly adding support for new bike models in the Woolich Racing Tuned software. To be notified when these products are listed, please subscribe to our email updates to be notified when this occurs.
