2 Step for Gen1 Busa

Re: 2 Step for Gen1 Busa
Got ya! Well I have a turbo busa making about 260hp right now on pump gas, I'm only 4" over and slammed with 20lbs of weights on the front end and its a hell of a bitch to launch. Scored a multistage the other day and its on its way along with some 550cc injectors (was running out of injector) I honestly have never ran a multistage so I am going to have my buddy teach me how to properly launch with one but was wondering if a 2 step would help out or not in launching and building boost possibly... if not its not a big deal just was wondering.

Re: 2 Step for Gen1 Busa
The neutral limiter should function. There are a few folks that have tested it. As for it building boost, that is another story. It may help a bit, but there are other methods that will aid in building boost (at least in rev ranges of 7000rpm+ on a busa, may take more on other platforms) I have found that hte 2-step itself is a bit counter productive as a boost building device in the current "cut" type of application.

 2 Step for Gen1 Busa
Me again... have been searching for a little bit here about doing a 2 step. From my understanding the gen1 busa uses the neutral map when the clutch is in correct? So in the WRT software if I set the Neutral RPM limiter to say 6,000 rpm's then with the clutch pulled in, in gear, it should have a 6,000 rpm rev limiter correct? Was looking at some other posts and some say this helps build boost off the line so was interested in this option. Thanks again!!!
