Disable Deceleration Fuel Cut reversible?

Postby Positron » Thu Jun 29, 2017 3:31 am

I tried Disable Deceleration Fuel Cut, didn't much care for it in my application.

I unchecked/reflashed but data seems to show that it no longer defuel's on decel.

Is this non reversible once checked? If so how do I revert back?
Thanks

I had some weirdness with the decel fuel cut on one bike.

I ended up reflashing the stock BIN, and then copying tables over from the modified BIN.

Thanks, that is my next course of action.

I've found that once you combine fuel tables there is no undoing, absent starting from original and copying your mods over.

Started with prior file and again have decel back, but seems to now go into defuel at very low rpms. At pit speeds/revs it will defuel so begins to buck. Have AFR on steering wheel display so I can see.

Any way to check/verify/change DFCO to a higher range? So it only defuels at say >3k revs..

Hi,

Most bike will defuel under a certain rpm. Usually from under 4,000rpm but every bike is different. If you have the Logbox and Zeitronx you will be able to monitor this in data viewer.

Might be the low settings I'm using for launch control for another purpose when I use clutch going back to first gear coming into paddock ie unintentionally going into launch perimeters. I'm going to try some higher values and other variables this weekend.

Does launch control use the Hardcut cut choice decision(checked or soft) in Limiter's section or is it independent from Rev limit?
